Press Release

BEHOLD: Stun Bolt Media in partnership with Zero Gravity Management are delighted to announce the launch of their hilarious new comedy series “Compound Fractures”. A behind the scenes peek into the world of cults.

BELIEVE: Most people inherit a house, a business, a farm or some jewellery upon the death of their mother. Not Luke Murphy, he inherited a cult and a family who want to milk it for every penny it’s worth. “Compound Fractures” follows the day to day running of a non traditional start up, as the Murphy family navigate the fresh, new world of cult unions, merchandising, health and safety regulations, massive laundry bills and love. And that is only season one.

ACCEPT: Despite all the situations that the Murphy family find themselves in as a direct result of greed, ambition, faith and devotion, “Compound Fractures” is at heart about family. At first, they all revert back to type, how they were when they were growing up in that house, but over time they slowly and reluctantly realize that they need each other to survive.

TRUST: While the original script came from Derek Binchy, it was evident from the onset that it was not funny. Which apparently is a key element of comedy. Jon Kesselman came on board, dragged Rob Kutner with him, kicking and screaming. Over two time zones and many rescheduled zoom calls, “Compound Fractures” was blessed upon us, well, you, actually. Between the three of them, they have 5 Emmys.

OBEY: With an all-star line up of writers (Rob Kutner, Jon Kesselman, Derek Binchy), director (Jon Kesselman) and actors (George Wendt, Adam Busch, Iris Bahr and Michael Curran-Dorsano) “Compound Fractures” is a truly original comedy with a sand pit of topics to play in. Beautifully shot in Cork, Ireland, this TV series, unlike the family it centers on, has a lot going for it.

FOLLOW: Now that you have been indoctrinated, reach out to us, watch the pilot, arrange an interview.
